Динамический диапазон в 16 ступеней и двойная нативная ISO до 25 600 обеспечивают малошумную съемку, при любых условиях освещения.
Два встроенных слота для карт CFExpress Type-B и порт USB-C позволяют вести запись непосредственно на внешние флэш-накопители, SSD. Высокая скорость карт CFexpress позволяет снимать на одну карту емкостью 256 ГБ в формате 6K в течение часа.
Поддерживает функцию стриминга по протоколам SRT, RTMP. На передней панели камеры PYXIS 12K имеется порт USB-C для подключения электронного видоискателя Blackmagic URSA Cine EVF и аналоговый аудиовход mini 3-pin XLR с фантомным питанием +48 В для подключения микрофона.
На задней панели есть разъем для подключения наушников, дополнительный 3,5-мм микрофонный вход.
