Студийная камера Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro создана на основе Studio Camera 4K и Studio Camera 4K Plus, оснащена матрицей 6K с более высоким разрешением, которая способна работать при слабом освещении с диапазоном ISO до 25600 единиц. Использует байонет объектива Canon EF, имеются встроенные фильтры нейтральной плотности 2, 4 и 6 ступеней, которые могут управляться электронным способом, в том числе дистанционно.

Из интерфейсов предлагаются выходной порт HDMI и 12G-SDI, 10G Ethernet, 2 разъема питания 12 В, 2 порта USB-C, 2 балансных аудиовхода mini XLR с фантомным питанием, 5-контактный разъем для подключения гарнитуры, а также разъем для гарнитуры 3,5 мм.

Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro можно подключить к интернету через порт USB-C, а затем подключить к коммутатору с помощью программного управления ATEM. Камера генерирует видеопоток с кодеком H.264, который отправляется обратно на видеомикшер через Интернет.

В сравнении с младшими версиями, микшер Atem Mini Pro ISO позволяет в реальном времени вести запись до пяти отдельных видеопотоков в кодеке H.264, включая сигналы со всех входов и саму трансляцию.
Вместе с ними сохраняется проектный файл DaVinci Resolve, при открытии которого можно выполнить монтаж программы, заменить кадры, смикшировать звуковую дорожку, сделать цветокоррекцию.
Он обеспечивает подключение к четырем источникам изображения, среди которых могут быть камеры, компьютер со слайдами PowerPoint и игровая консоль.
Для создания картинки в картинке, целого ряда эффектов предусмотрен процессор DVE. Модель имеет порт USB для передачи сигнала на любые специальные приложения и HDMI-выход для вывода видео на проекторы. Кроме того, предусмотрены входы для настольных и петличных микрофонов, чтобы получать качественный звук при съемке репортажей, во время публичных выступлений.
